Personal History
Aster Vossen is one of the founding members of the trio that developed into the Winterbite Wolves. She grew up in Freyrock with her older twin brother, Alarc, raised by the large Vossen clan of their parents and several aunts and uncles, her grandparents, and half a dozen cousins. Additionally, she and Percy are close like a secondary pair of siblings with Percy taking on that older brother role.
Aster is the emotional rock of the group and the fastest runner. She spent years as a messanger wolf when she lived in Freyrock and her smaller size gifted her a quickness advantage. She provides a valuable optimism when things threaten to fall into darkness. She encourages good, harmless adventures, card games, and loves to paint and garden. She reminds everyone of the goodness inside them.
With her role, she brings out the best in people. She and Orion are the closest of the group and the perfect example of platonic halves of the same heart. The two of them always search for adventure and often rely on Percy to bail them out of jail when the fun gets too rowdy. She's also close with Lorelei and Cordelia and the three have constant days for the girls only.
Aster meets her future wife, Lavina, during the war between Oberon and Cordelia and they marry in Brierwell's gardens and return from their honeymoon in the epilogue.

Powers:
As a werewolf with the Winterbites, Aster has a natural set of skills and characteristics that separate her from humans and non-human entities.
-able to shapeshift between human/humanoid, mixed, and pure wolf bodies
-enhanced hearing, sight, and smell like that of a wolf
-endurance and strength stronger than any human
-an omniscient spirit guide of the ancient werewolves to provide council
-able to sprint and chase over miles of wilderness
-can sense when someone is being decitful (in some instances)
-a natural protective instinct for herself and the ones she cares about

-hand-to-hand combant and weapon skills
-faster than the rest of the group due to her smaller size when in wolf form; spent her teen years as a messanger wolf
-skilled in the arts and gardening
-survival skills and hunting techniques
-consititent body heat that insulates from the coldest of winters
