Personal History
Alaric Vossen is one of the founding members of the trio that developed into the Winterbite Wolves. He grew up in Freyrock with younger twin sister, Aster, raised by the large Vossen clan of their parents and several aunts and uncles, his grandparents, and half a dozen cousins. He is especially close with his uncle Kieran who introduced him to Percy when they were children through his training camp for younglings.
Alaric is the second in command and a refined fighter. He trained for years in the arts of combat for personal growth and his enjoyment, but it proved to work in his favor. When Percy left the Winterbites after Hope's death, he assumed leadership at his friend's request. While he knew how to lead and made a fine leader, he never preferred it for himself. He wished for Percy back, concerned for his brother. He is often a voice of reason for the group and able to keep calm under pressure.
With his status as a second in command, Percy turns to him for a trusted opinion as an advisor and a chosen brother. Alaric always provides it. He and Aster, as twins, have an unshakeable bond and no one would dare question it. His years-long connection with Orion keep them close as sparring buddies and down to train alongside Percy. He and Lorelei are the loves of each other's lives, or at least she is for him. He deeply admires Cordelia and how she's brought Percy back from a dark spot in his life, always kind and respectful toward her.
He and Lorelei are married a year after the war in an intimate ceremony in Freyrock, at the place where they first met.

Powers:
As a werewolf and the former temporary leader of The Winterbites, Alaric boasts a natural set of skills and characteristics that separate him humans and other non-human entities
-able to shapeshift between human/humanoid, mixed, and pure wolf bodies
-enhanced hearing, sight, and smell like that of a wolf
-endurance and strength stronger than any human
-an omniscient spirit guide of the ancient werewolves to provide council
-able to sprint and chase over miles of wilderness
-can sense when someone is being decitful (in some instances)
-a natural protective instinct for himself and the ones he cares about
